The limitation, stated plainly

Offbeat requires hearing. The whole game is judging sound, and Odd One Out is deliberately built so it cannot be solved by looking at anything. There is no visual alternative that preserves the game, because the alternative would be the answer.

This is a known and accepted limitation rather than an oversight. Deaf and hard-of-hearing players cannot play the core mechanic, and we would rather say so here than let someone find out by failing a puzzle. The requirement is stated on the page itself and in the How-to-play panel.
